Filters
Provide a way for users to locate information quickly and efficiently.
Overview
When your users may not understand the exact information they are looking for users Filters (or Categories) can reduce the list of content to more manageable or understandable data.
Usage
Once you have created your content then use Groups or Categories to present users with one or more level of Filter options to reduce the set or list of content.
Tips
- Use Filters where the quantity of content maybe overwhelming or where the user may not understand exactly what to search for.
- Make filtering optional to cater for both new and frequent users.
